Obama: Radical Change from the Far Left is Coming

RPV Chairman Jeff Frederick comments on the coming Obama administration (excerpt)
Barack Obama promised fundamental change in America, and it looks like this is one promise he aims to keep.

"While I have congratulated Obama on his historic victory, it isn't taking long for his far-left leanings to begin to reveal how he will govern.

This morning's Washington Post reports on Obama's plans to immediately reverse policies on abortion and embryonic stem cell research, while the Washington Times has a story about a spike in gun sales amid fear of limits Obama and the Democratic Congress will put on 2nd Amendment rights.

Days ago, we learned of Obama's first major decision as president-elect was to choose one of the most ruthless, far-left political brawlers as his White House Chief of Staff, Chicago machine politician Rahm Emanuel.

Barack Obama knows that the election may be over, but the battle for America?s, and Virginia's future has just begun.

And there?s more to come. Others from the far-left like Howard Dean and John Kerry have already been extended offers to join an Obama Administration, sure to make it the most partisan and liberal team ever assembled in the White House.

This is just the gang to push for the "fundamental change" Obama promised (but that you didn't hear much about during the campaign):
  • Massive new taxes and generous giveaways to his supporters to "spread the wealth";
  • A 25% cut in the military budget;
  • Money from the billions in bailout money going to pet projects like ACORN;
  • Welfare for millions more who already pay no taxes;
  • Free "healthcare" courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer;
  • Welfare and drivers licenses for illegal aliens -- with voting rights soon to follow;
  • The so-called "Freedom of Choice" Act to make abortion the law of the land;
  • DC statehood with full voting rights in Congress -- i.e. Senator Marion Barry;
  • The most radical, anti-capitalism/pro-criminal court appointees this side of Venezuela.
Friends, now is no time to sit on the sidelines and be fooled by Obama's overtures to moderation that he has never, ever practiced. Now is the time to stand firm and prepare for the coming radical shift in America."
