Gas and Food Cost Problems: Vote the Bums Out

Guest Columnist John Callahan

I don't know about you but I'm fed up with the rising cost of oil, food and other items produced with oil byproducts.

Congress is out of touch with American Citizens. It seems there is no issue too large for both Republicans and Democrats in congress to ignore.

What can we do to correct these rising costs; PLENTY. Even Donald Trump said he could fix the problem of rising oil cost by 5pm.

Why hasn't congress done more than just talk about it? Because the American public has remained silent. It seems Congress is only worried the American speculators would lose their money, maybe even go bankrupt, not considering the average American Citizen is having trouble earning a living, having to choose between gas, food or medicine on a daily basis. If the speculators go down congress will lose vast sums of contributions.

Until the American Citizens gets vocal there will be no change. We are sitting on more oil than all the oil in Saudia Arabia. Now is the time to get out from under foreign oil control.

Remember if we keep voting the same guys in we will get the same lack of service.

So what can we do? Write a letter, Email or call all Republicans and Democrats holding a political position, even local office holders and demand action, telling them to fix the problem or be voted out in the next election.

Tell them to work at their level to get congress to fix the problem. Just the suggestion the United States is considering drilling for oil will cause the foreign oil producers to drop the cost of oil. What can congress do to correct the rising cost.

Just three things..

  1. Approve off shore drilling.
  2. Approve drilling in Alaskan region.
  3. Advise the Saudia Arabian Prince that we will pull our troops out of the area by 5PM (Trumps suggestion) if they don't drop the oil cost to $50 a barrel. If Saudia needs more money to run their government they can increase the amount of oil production not raise the cost of oil.

Suggest you send this... to all those in your directory, including members of congress and call those that are not on your email list. Lets get vocal. Tell them to fix the problem or start looking for another job.
