Government is Too Big and Spends Too Much

"Politicians in Washington are responsible for piling more than $30 trillion in debt on the backs of future generations. In the so-called Build Back Bankrupt Act alone, Democrats proposed more than 150 new programs and eliminated none.

This week, I introduced the Less Is More Resolution to help reduce the size of government by limiting the number and cost of federal programs. The new House rule would require Members of Congress to eliminate two existing programs for every new program they propose.

The federal government continues to spend money it does not have to fund new programs at the expense of the American taxpayer. Enough is enough. We must not bankrupt America on the backs of our grandchildren. The Less Is More Resolution would establish accountability for federal spending and finally start reducing the number of government programs."
