Sen. Chase Supports Virginia Leaving ERIC

May 12, 2023

Next step is to pass Voter Confidence Restoration Act

CHESTERFIELD, VA- Virginia's Board of Elections has announced that the commonwealth will withdraw participation from the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).

"Virginia leaving Soros funded ERIC is long overdue and a huge victory for Virginia, and I applaud the Governor for his action," said Senator Chase. "ERIC is a national system that Deep State officials say is an important tool to keep voting rolls clean. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, it would be used for insidious and nefarious purposes to include an abuse of power in controlling our elections. We can't stop there though. We need to pass my Voter Confidence Restoration Act which returns elections to paper ballots, hand counts, no voting computers, no tabulators, photo identification to vote, an Election Day and notary signature requirement for any mail in ballots."

All three Senate District 12 Republican Candidates claim to support voter integrity, but Senator Amanda Chase is the only candidate running who has led on this issue from the beginning.

The Republican Primary is on June 20th and Early Voting has started.
