Chase Awarded Defender of Limited Government by Institute for Legislative Analysis Senator Chase is the only State Senator to Receive Award CHESTERFIELD, VA- Today Senator Amanda Chase was awarded the Thomas Jefferson Defender of Limited Government Award from the Institute of Legislative Analysis (ILA) for her stellar legislative voting record. "Unfortunately, the rhetoric of politicians at election time often doesn't match up with their real actions at voting time," said ILA CEO Ryan McGowan. "We are excited to provide this new resource to help voters – regardless of their political belief – cut through the rhetoric and make informed decisions at the ballot box."
