I am sure you have heard the good news that Rep. Kevin McCarthy has been officially ousted as Speaker of the House. This is our opportunity to have a conservative for Speaker. I am supporting Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio.
Rep. Jordan and Rep. Steve Scalise are running in the Republican Conference for Speaker. They are both good men. I believe Rep. Jordan will do a better job. He is a Freedom Caucus member who is serving our country well as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Before that, Rep. Jordan proved his toughness by standing up to Democrats as the Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee. Rep. Jordan has proved to be a true conservative and a careful manager of important congressional committees. I believe he is the best candidate for Speaker.
I am currently contacting Virginia's Republican Congressional Delegation to whip the vote for Rep. Jordan for Speaker, and I ask you to join me.
