The anti-gun majority in the Virginia General Assembly spent nearly the entire legislative session laser focused on dismantling your right to keep and bear arms.
They drafted and passed over 30 anti-gun bills -- all designed to make Virginia the most heavily anti-gun state in the Union.
With the regular session complete, all these bills are now sitting on Governor Glenn Younkin's desk -- awaiting his signature.
Call Governor Glen Youngkin at 804-786-2211 and urge him to VETO every gun control bill.
Your message can be as simple as:
"As a Virginia resident, voter, and law-abiding gun owning I am asking Governor Youngkin to veto every single gun control bill awaiting his signature."
All the bills are unconstitutional, rights-destroying garbage; but HB 2 -- an "assault weapons" ban -- is perhaps the worst.
In fact, by our legal analysis, HB 2 is one of the worst "assault weapon" ban bills ever introduced, and it could become law if gun owners are silent.
Even if you have previously called or emailed, now is the time to double down and contact Youngkin again.
In addition to HB 2, anti-gunners seek to:
• Ban magazines that hold more than ten rounds.
• Expand dangerous "gun-free" zones.
• Restrict your right to open carry a firearm.
• Make obtaining a concealed handgun permit harder.
• Expand the prohibitors for gun ownership.
• Require unconstitutional waiting periods and training for gun ownership.
• Strip young adult's right to own guns.
You can be sure the anti-gun Left and the Moms Demand Gun Control advocates are pouring in calls to Gov. Youngkin pleading with him to sign all these bills into law.
