Youngkin: "There will be no new taxes"

Governor Glenn Youngkin continues to travel across the Commonwealth to make sure Virginians are aware of the harmful policies included in the Democrats' Backward Budget.

The Backward Budget includes $2.6 billion in tax increases on Virginia families, undoing the progress made to lower the cost of living for Virginians with $5 billion in tax relief signed into law by Governor Youngkin over the last two years.

In Chesapeake, Governor Youngkin reiterated his commitment to protect Virginians from the tax increases in the Backward Budget.

"There will be no new taxes," Youngkin said. "So, we're going to get rid of the tax increase."
