Give thanks and praise to God, expressing gratitude to Him for the blessing of democracy and freedom. Continue to pray for God's will to be done in our election process, for all Americans to acknowledge His supremacy in all things, and for a spirit of repentance to spread across our nation as people turn their hearts to Him.
Give thanks and praise for the great pride our nation derives from our flag. Pray that citizens will honor both our flag and the freedom that it symbolizes.
Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance, and safety. Ask God to give these men and women the strength they need to prevail.
Pray for the continued strength and support of our nation's military troops, asking God to protect and guide our troops today as they follow in the great tradition of those who sacrificed decades ago.
"Lord, please hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless then and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen."
