Concerned Women of America: Come together to pray

Announce a time of fasting; call the people together for a solemn meeting. Bring the leaders and all the people of the land into the Temple of the LORD your God, and cry out to him there.  Joel 1:14 (NLT)

We are encouraging and inviting churches and ministries of all denominations, government leaders, prayer networks, and all believers to come together to pray at the National Prayer Altar at Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C.

Our next in-person prayer event will be strategically held just before the midterm elections on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST.

America is experiencing a spiritual and moral crisis—a crisis that people have created, but only God can resolve. Our nation is in peril. As salt and light, God's people are given the exclusive responsibility to humbly unite and earnestly pray without ceasing for the land to be healed.
According to Scripture, we believe three things are true:

  1. America is indeed in a spiritual and moral crisis.
  2. Only Jesus Christ can heal the crisis in America.
  3. Only God's people are empowered and authorized to cry out to Him to heal the land.

THERE'S HOPE!
God still moves when His people pray! Throughout Scripture, God's love, mercy, longsuffering, and forgiveness are abundantly displayed over and over again, whenever His people would return to Him with all their hearts and obey His Word.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)

According to God's Word, the healing of our land will not come from another election or any political party in power. The healing of our land will come from God alone, when His people humbly and unitedly seek His face with all their hearts in prayer.

We're calling all believers to united prayer and renewed faith in the Holy Spirit's power to change the spiritual atmosphere in our nation.
