AEA Releases 2022 Senate Scorecard

The American Energy Alliance (AEA) is proud to announce the release of our 2022 American Energy Scorecard for the U.S. Senate.

Our American Energy Scorecard educates the public about how their representatives vote on the most important energy votes of the year, determines who are the true free market energy champions in Congress, and holds elected officials accountable for their legislative actions regarding energy policy.

Guided by AEA's core principles, the American Energy Scorecard studies and ranks senators' roll call votes and co-sponsorships of individual pieces of legislation.

The 2022 scorecard compiles 28 votes covering a range of energy and environmental policy issues.

In addition, one co-sponsorship decision was scored -- in this case scored negatively. This was the resolution supporting a Green New Deal, which sought to control every aspect of the economy through controlling energy decisions.
