Friend, This past year Republicans have made strides in restoring common sense law and order in the Commonwealth. We at the Republican Party of Virginia want to highlight the fantastic work our Delegates and Senators in the General Assembly were able to accomplish this past session. Today we highlight Delegate Carrie Coyner. This past Legislative Session, Delegate Coyner carried HB 230 which requires the Commonwealth to set up teaching license reciprocity for spouses of members of the Armed Services and the Virginia National Guard. The Bill sets up applications for people who have obtained a license in another State with full credentials and without deficiencies. In 2021, Virginia held the third largest population of Active Duty Military personnel. Oftentimes the spouses of these brave men and women face red tape from the state in which they are stationed. This Bill will help relieve one barrier that many face. Thank you to the brave men and women who serve our great nation and Commonwealth, and thank you Delegate Coyner for working hard on their behalf! Republicans are leading the way to make Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
