AEA Heralds 2022 Senate American Energy Champions

From Tom Pyle: 2022 American Energy Scorecard for the U.S. Senate.

Obviously a major goal of the American Energy Scorecard is holding our elected officials accountable for the decisions they make in Washington.

One major way we do this is by shining a light on the radicals who want to destroy America's free market economy and national security.

But AEA is also honored to promote candidates and commend elected officials with strong, proven pro-energy voting records.

The 2022 American Energy Scorecard compiles 28 votes covering a range of energy and environmental policy issues, and also negatively scores co-sponsorship of the resolution supporting a Green New Deal, which sought to control every aspect of the economy through controlling energy decisions.

On this year's scorecard, six senators achieved better than a 90% score over their full term of office.

And AEA is proud to applaud these American Energy Champions in the Senate:

  • Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT)
  • Sen. James Lankford (R-OK)
  • Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)
  • Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI)
  • Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA)
  • Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS)

I encourage you to support these senators who have taken such a strong and commendable stance for American energy.

And if you're not already represented by one of these energy leaders in the U.S. Senate, please check out AEA's 2022 American Energy Scorecard to see how your elected leaders scored.
