Congressman Good Update: Not One More Penny for Democrat Spending Spree

This week, the House of Representatives passed a Continuing Resolution (CR), which extends government funding past the September 30 deadline until December 16. This move enables the Democrat Majority to further fund its radical agenda beyond the November election, regardless of the demonstrated will of the people. I voted against continuing the irresponsible spending spree that has contributed to record inflation, rising interest rates, and exploding national debt.

Continued reckless government spending will only make the lives of American taxpayers more difficult. For this reason, I joined 41 members of the House of Representatives in signing onto Representative Chip Roy's (TX-21) recent letter to leadership. We voiced our strong opposition to ANY funding that furthers Biden's America-last agenda or worsens the record high inflation plaguing our great country.

It has become clear that this administration will not secure the Southern Border, protect innocent life, end unnecessary climate initiatives, stop the FBI from targeting Americans, eliminate COVID-19 mandates on school and military employees, debunk CRT, or disarm the IRS.

The federal government ought to get back to ensuring American safety and prosperity rather than creating lawlessness and economic hardship.
