Noah Webster Educational Foundation: Fall into step with us! Help reclaim American Education!

From the president's desk...

It's hard to believe that another month has already passed! Our team pulled together some of September's highlights to share with you. Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this newsletter and see what our partnership is getting done.

First, I'd like to give a quick update on a couple members of our team

Rebecca Martin worked with us over the summer on some development projects to further expand outreach and awareness. I'm grateful for the energy, passion, and positive attitude she brought. She has decided to continue her education in the field of special education. We know she will do well and wish her success in this worthy endeavor.

Hannah Anderson is the newest member of our team. She joined us this month and will be leading our development and marketing work. Many of you will get to interact directly with Hannah. A recent graduate of Liberty University (Business Administration: Digital Marketing and Advertising) who hails from Oregon, she brings a passion for outreach and nonprofits to her work. We welcome her to our team!

Let me highlight two significant events I participated in this month for NWEF

I participated in a policy conference that was held in Texas. This was a tremendous event, attended by some of the most influential leaders in the nation. I was able to introduce NWEF to the conference body and develop relationships with a number of individuals and organizations who we will be able to work with to expand the influence and impact of our vision to

reclaim America's education and culture. Strategic collaboration is critical to our success.

NWEF hosted an awareness luncheon this month that was attended by about 100 people.

We shared work we've accomplished, and more importantly, we shared a case document of our plans for the next 3 years. We must scale our efforts in order to meet the opportunities we have.

It's going to take all of us to effect the changes needed in education to ensure a bright future for our children and country! So, we want you to get in on the event and our plans going forward!

The video captures the full event and features Virginia's Lieutenant Governor, Winsome Sears; Virginia Senators Steve Newman and William Stanley; Pastor Tom McCracken; School Board Member Carletta Whiting; a Mom, Mary Catherine Bennet; NWEF supporters Bob and Nancy Stouffer; NWEF Board Member Lowell Martin; Healing Strides President, Carol Young; and NWEF President, yours truly, Melvin Adams. I hope you'll take the time to watch the video linked above.

I'd love to share our case document for the next 3 years with you. If you'd like that information, please send us a quick note to info@nwef.org.

Thank you for your active support of Noah Webster Educational Foundation. Your prayers, introducing us to your friends, and your financial generosity enables us to do everything we do.

So, on behalf of the entire board and staff, thank you!

Sincerely,

Melvin Adams
