Get Out the Vote Rally with Yesli and Governor Youngkin
Tuesday, November 1 7:00 P.M.
Brandy Station Fire Hall

This is an outside rally--please dress accordingly!
Background Info re: Electoral Vote Discussion at Oct 27 Meeting
1. An Election Officer is paid by the state to conduct local elections.
2. When you become an EO, you do not have to (currently) tell which party you are affiliated with. The Registrar's Office assigns EOs to precincts at will.
3. A 3-person Electoral Board makes decisions locally. When a Dem is Governor, 2 out of 3 of those Board members are Dems. Now that we have a Rep Governor, the CCRC Chair gets to appoint a second Board member; so now it will be 2 Reps and 1 Dem.
4. Goal: Change #2 above to each party's providing equal EOs and having them assigned equally at precincts.
