Glenn Youngkin's approval rating remains strong, with yet another poll showing the majority of Virginians approve of his job as governor.
In a Roanoke College poll released today, Governor Youngkin's approval rating is 53% among Virginians.
"Virginians' approval of Gov. Glenn Youngkin remains about the same as in the IPOR poll from May 2023, with 53% of Virginians approving of the way Youngkin is handling his job as governor. In that same period, Biden's job approval has decreased, down nine points from an approval rating of 42% in May to 33% in this poll. In November, Biden's approval was at 37%, and this poll marks the first time that more than 60% of Virginians disapprove of the way Biden is handling the presidency," Cardinal News reported.
The latest Roanoke poll shows Governor Youngkin's approval rating increased since November, from 52% to 53%. Youngkin's net approval rating also increased since November, from +13 to +15.
Governor Youngkin's approval rating remains strong because he remains focused on the issues that matter most to Virginians – growing the economy, creating jobs, lowering the cost of living, restoring excellence in education, transforming our behavioral health care system, and keeping Virginians safe.
