| The dreaded car tax. Did you know that a 2023 study found that Virginia has the highest vehicle property tax in the country? Study is HERE.
As the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported (HERE), Virginia tax collections are up dramatically. This is why Governor Youngkin suggested a reduction in income taxes while still being able to cover increased funding for schools and behavioral health in his budget. BUT NOT THE DEMOCRATS. They want to increase taxes on items such as digital services (you'll pay even more for your Netflix) and to increase spending on more government programs!
Here's an idea - why don't we get the General Assembly to finally eliminate the car tax or at a minimum reduce in half again like Republican Governor Jim Gilmore achieved. Email your Legislator HERE and tell them NO MORE CAR TAX! |
