Last night Joe Biden proclaimed, "I promise you I will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land again."
Biden and his administration boldly and unashamedly committed themselves to Big Abortion's agenda before the American people and the world.
Along with promises of tax cuts and better education, the murder of innocent babies was celebrated by some of our country's leaders in a joint session of Congress. By "restoring Roe," the Biden administration celebrates and commits itself to allowing abortion up until the moment of birth.
It's true that under Roe, many states including our nation's capital, performed abortion-on-demand for any reason during any point of pregnancy. If the Biden administration "restores Roe," here are some other troubling things that will become commonplace:
- Roe placed the responsibility of determining how late an abortion could happen in the hands of the medical professional performing it.
- Roe made America a global outlier. Out of 200 countries in the world, only a handful allow abortion for any reason after five months.
- Roe allowed abortionists to carry out procedures on minors without parents knowing.
- Roe allowed deadly health exceptions for abortion facilities – even going as far as allowing non-doctors to perform surgeries.
These are just a few of the major risks we face in 2024 if life does not win. Grievously under Roe, 60 million babies were killed in their mothers' wombs. Yet, Biden calls for expanded access to abortion drugs and abortion-on-demand.
