Congressman Bob Good: Protecting Our Children

I had the privilege of joining some of my Republican colleagues in speaking at a press conference to discuss the Protect Children's Innocence Act. The purpose was to combat the Democrats' radical agenda that promotes gender-confusion, sexualization of minors, and even irreparable surgery to change their bodies.

At the press conference, we heard from Chloe Cole, whose parents followed the advice of so-called medical professionals who performed life-altering surgery on her as a child. Chloe's story is filled with regret and illustrates that children need the right kind of caring support to help guide them through the most difficult times in their lives.

NO elected official should stand silently by while our children are subjected to permanent physical mutilation of their bodies or dangerous hormonal treatments in the false name of "gender affirming care." And medical providers need to be held accountable for any bodily harm they inflict on a child.

That is why I joined Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's (GA-14) courageous stand in introducing the Protect Children's Innocence Act. I hope others will add their support to this commonsense legislation and help us end this abusive malpractice.
