Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives: Where Are The Hurricanes?

Funny how certain hysterias are only as good as the hysteria surrounding them, but then when there is none, well, the proponents look pretty silly.

Such was the case a few decades ago when the 'global warming' summit for world leaders that was scheduled in Europe had to be delayed due to a massive snow storm (which lead to the rebranding of 'global warming' to 'global climate change.')

The whole 'man-caused global climate change is the biggest existential threat to the planet' narrative keeps getting propped up by the left only to run aground as mother nature refuses to cooperate with the hype.

A few years ago I wrote about how extreme the extremist's rhetoric was getting with Hilary Clinton claiming women "will bear the brunt of looking for the food, looking for the firewood, looking for the place to migrate to when all of the grass is finally gone as the desertification moves south and you have to keep moving your livestock, or your crops are no longer growing; they're burning up in the intense heat"; Rachel Maddow informing us that Miami "is already experiencing serious flooding on sunny days, as a result of sea level rise", and I included a bevvy of other dire, insane, apocalyptic quotes.

Don't believe it? Read "Is it the 'End of the World" sometime.

By the way - if Miami is "experiencing serious flooding", wouldn't that mean Miami Beach is gone? The beach would have to already be underwater for the city to be flooded, right? Have you heard a peep about the aquatic disappearance of Miami Beach & its tens of thousands of displaced residents? The death of its tourism industry as there's no beach at Miami Beach to vacation on? Etc.?

No? I'll tell you why. Because its still there. The number of dire climate-change predictions not coming true are too numerous to count, but here's one fresh off the press -- WHERE ARE THE HURRICANES??!

In his 2006 book & film of the same name, "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore claimed there would be no more polar bear habitat in a matter of decades. That was 16 years ago. Well? In the 1970'scientists estimated there were about 10,000 polar bears living in the wild on planet earth. They now estimate the total polar bear population to be about 26,000 today.

Aside from a submerged Miami Beach know what else you've heard nearly nothing about? HURRICANES!! Had you even noticed? You likely caught wind (no pun intended) of the destruction Fiona wreaked upon Puerto Rico last week but did you notice that was the first such reporting you heard this year? And its September! That's because prior to Fiona - there haven't been any hurricanes.

At the start of this year, due to severe climate change, 'scientists' anticipated the worst hurricane season in history. Have you noticed the lack of hurricanes in 2022? Maybe you haven't, so let me bring you up to speed: this supposedly disastrous storm season is 83% below normal value. From May through August - prime hurricane season - there were NO named hurricanes at all. Not one. It was the first time that has happened since the 1940s.

Decades ago we were told that mankind was ushering in an ice age & we were going to freeze. Didn't happen. Then it was atmospheric-pollution-caused acid rain that was to spell our doom. Then a growing hole in the ozone layer meant our children were soon to be born with scales instead of skin. Through the years we've been told that because of what we're doing to the earth we're going to drown, cause mass extinctions, freeze, dry, fly, fry and die. Guess what? We're still here, sweet corn grows just as tall as ever, sardines still swim into our nets, and we're just as comfortable today as in 1977, 1942 and as far back as any can remember.

Yet despite the fact many of the same 'experts' (who said we'd all fry in the 80s) said this would be the worst hurricane year ever, and we've had a historic derth of them, as late as last month the NOAA was still claiming it "expects above-normal Atlantic hurricane season" even though hurricane season is nearly over. Why?

Because when the science doesn't fit your narrative, ....change the narrative.
