Let us pray.
Dear God, Our Heavenly Father and Giver of Life, we are thankful to you that the form of government in our country was founded by wise men with Christian principles.
Today, the work of these founding fathers is being carried forward by our young people. Our future is always in the hands of our youth.
We pray for a better morality of our nation, which seems to continue to find a new low. God’s people continue to suffer from a lack of knowledge! The leadership of our country is in the worst hands ever. Our 545 leaders are failing us. The lust for power and greed for material worth has never been stronger.
Unless we turn to the Holy Book for instructions, our way of life will continue to wane away.
We pray for our men and women serving our country around the world and entrust them into your hands.
