During Youngkin's first two years as Governor, he signed bipartisan budgets into law that included record investments in students, teachers, law enforcement, behavioral health, and other bipartisan priorities – all while providing a record $5 billion in tax relief for Virginia families.
In introducing the Common Ground Budget, Youngkin said this is a chance to again fund shared priorities and also protect Virginians from tax increases.
"I constantly want to remind us that this pursuit of both-and opportunities consistently presents itself when we search for it," Youngkin said. "Friends, this is a budget that finds common ground."
