McDonnell Fulfills Two Campaign Pledges
During the campaign, Governor McDonnell pledged to reopen all of Virginia’s interstate rest stops, and to enact real education reform. An article in today’s Richmond Daily Times notes that he’s accomplished both:
“Following an arduous legislative session, Gov. Bob McDonnell left Richmond yesterday to knock off two campaign promises, snipping a ribbon that wrapped a rest stop and signing legislation for college partnership lab schools.”
