With so much on the line in the 2024 elections, I wanted to make sure you were armed with the facts about your candidates' 2A positions.
And I have good news and bad news for pro-gun voters in Virginia's 5th Congressional District.
First, the good news -- your current Congressman, Bob Good, is one of the most pro-gun lawmakers in Washington, period.
Time and time again, Rep. Good has not only voted right, but gone above and beyond to protect your gun rights from D.C. gun grabbers.
So please take a moment and call Rep. Good at (202) 225-4711 and thank him for standing up for your gun rights.
Now for the bad news.
Virginia State Senator John McGuire, who is challenging Rep. Good for his Congressional Seat, has a troubling history of gun control advocacy.
Specifically, when speaking at an anti-gun rally in 2018, John McGuire sided with Gun Control, Inc., saying America needs to make a change about the "leniency of gun-regulations," and that he is "in support of stronger background checks."1
Of course, you and I both know that "stronger background checks" is politician speak for Universal Gun Registration.
