Riley Gaines: Selina has fought for the truth for years

Across the country, courageous young women are standing up for truth and common sense.

I'm honored to be joined by many of them in the fight to protect the female identity.

Thanks to your support of the Leadership Institute, these young leaders now have the proper tools and skills to make a big difference.

One of those strong courageous young leaders is my friend Selina Soule. Let me tell you her story.

Selina is a former elite high school track and field athlete from Connecticut. She is a ten-time All-Conference, five-time All State, three-time All New England, and four-time National Qualifier track athlete.

Selina worked hard and gave her all on the track for years to achieve those milestones. Along the way though, she lost countless other opportunities to male competitors who absurdly claimed to be women.

Selina began to speak out locally in her home state in 2018 about the harm caused by allowing men to compete in women's sports. In 2019, Selina missed out on the regional New England track meet in the 55m dash by two spots -- both taken by men!

That injustice pushed Selina to take her message nationwide.

In 2020, she filed verbal and written testimonies to support legislation to protect women's sports. Her efforts led to the successful passage of bills protecting women's sports in many states.

Selina does not want to see young women continue to lose titles and opportunities simply because a man pretends to be a woman.

She now fights to protect women's sports as an Ambassador for the Riley Gaines Center at the Leadership Institute.

Selina is one of four Ambassadors already recruited and trained by the Leadership Institute to share their own stories of courage and inspire others to stand up for truth.

The Ambassadors each receive media training at Leadership Institute headquarters -- the same training I received. This helps them hone their communication skills before taking the stage at campuses nationwide.

Selina has been in this fight for truth for years. Now, your support allows her to spread her message to an even wider audience.

Thank you for your continued support of Selina, me, and all the young women who fight for truth, common sense, and constitutional principles.

Together, you, Selina, and I inspire the rising generation to continue the fight to protect women and uphold liberty.
