Standing with Law Enforcement
This National Police Week, we honor the bravery, dedication, and sacrifice of our law enforcement officers. They work tirelessly to keep our communities safe, regularly placing themselves in harm's way. Thank you for your service and commitment to protecting others. I am proud to Back the Blue!
State and local law enforcement should have access to life-saving military equipment that can be used in response to terrorist attacks, for search-and-rescue operations, and during natural disasters. That is why I introduced the Protect Our Police Act to prohibit the Biden Administration from unilaterally issuing any restriction on the 1033 Program which permits police departments to have access to this military surplus equipment. My legislation will ensure that the brave men and women selflessly serving in law enforcement can acquire the equipment that helps keep our communities safer. |
The Trump Trial FarcePresident Trump is guilty of running for reelection and becoming the Republican nominee and Democrats are weaponizing the legal system against him, because they know Americans were far better off when he was president, and they cannot legitimately defeat him at the ballot box. They are trying to deny the will of the American people, and we must not let them succeed. President Trump was the best president of my lifetime. During his four years in office, our nation prospered with a strong economy, energy dominance, $2 gas prices, record low unemployment, and low inflation. We had a secure border, hundreds of miles of completed wall construction, and historically low illegal border crossings. We had relative peace around the world, as our adversaries respected him, and his diplomatic skills resulted in the historic Abraham Accords. |
Abortion is NOT HealthcareIn an Education and Workforce hearing, I asked the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra if abortion is a good thing, or a bad thing. He repeatedly refused to answer, until I finally had to help him with the answer—abortion is a BAD thing and it is NOT healthcare. The secretary also refused to say whether abortion should be expanded, so we have more of them, or reduced, so we have less of them. The fact is, abortion is the number one killer in America, and it should not be celebrated and expanded, as the Democrats incessantly attempt to do. |
