Last Thursday evening the 7th Congressional District Republican Committee held a forum featuring the six candidates (HERE) running for the Republican nomination. The 7th CD is an open seat and a GOP pickup opportunity. Former Dem Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger stepped down to begin running for Governor in 2025.

Note: Republican candidate Terris Todd is a long-time member of the Northern Virginia Republican Business Forum and Derrick Anderson appeared on Fox News the other evening discussing the Israel conflict (HERE).

MCRW COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
The following projects are on-going:
*** COMMUNITY FOOD CLOSETS – A collection box is available at all MCRW monthly membership for donations of non-perishable boxed/canned food items to be forwarded to the Madison Emergency Shelter Association (MESA).
*** LITERACY PROGRAM – donations of new or gently used books for local schools, library and charities.
*** SUPPORT THE TROOPS – “Operation Warm Heart” – A collection box is available at all MCRW monthly membership meetings for donations.

Republican Philosophy
